About
Our Journey
After 15 years in healthcare management, I (Jenn) was ready for a new direction. My husband, an insurance agent, heard about a candy store for sale in our hometown of Montello. We toured it, fell in love, and bought it—on March 15, 2020, the same weekend COVID hit.
Thanks to our amazing small town, we got through the tough early days. Five years later, we found Tin Roof Dairy in downtown Baraboo and instantly knew it was our next adventure.

Our Passion
I absolutely love what we do—bringing joy to people from the moment they step through our doors. It's a place where my four children enjoy working with me, where the atmosphere is always uplifting, and where we hear so many heartwarming stories connected to sweets.
To us, ice cream and candy aren’t just treats—they’re family traditions, childhood memories, and shared moments. Whether it's someone recalling Grandma’s fudge or a family grabbing cones on vacation, sweets have a way of connecting people. We’re honored to share in those connections every day in the heart of Baraboo.
Baraboo Roots
Baraboo isn’t new to me—it’s where I went to college at “Boo U” and where I worked at Little Village Café for five years. It’s also where lifelong friendships and small-town charm thrive. Now, as the owners of Sweets on Third (formerly Tin Roof Dairy), we’re proud to be part of the vibrant downtown Baraboo business community, joining in events like Fair on the Square and enjoying the hustle of a busy day.
